Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025

Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025

Why I’m Writing This Blog

I’m writing this blog to share my wonderful experience of Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025. These three days were full of joy, creativity, and learning. Through this blog, I want to express how it felt to be a part of this grand event — both as a participant and a volunteer. I will also highlight the participation of our Department of English in various events and give a small summary of the many performances and competitions I witnessed during the festival.

Day 1: Kala-Yatra (8th October 2025)

On the first day of Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025, dated 8th October 2025, we, the students of the Department of English, attended the Kala-Yatra as an audience. The event was a vibrant blend of stories, colours, and emotions where each tableau seemed to speak its own language. Walking through the performances felt like turning the pages of a living book, with each chapter revealing something meaningful about culture, society, or current affairs. Among all the performances, the tableau by College Code 12 titled Operation Sindoor instantly stood out. Inspired by recent national events, it portrayed real incidents with remarkable precision and emotion. The performers didn’t just act—they told a story that made everyone pause and reflect on the social and political issues shaping our country. Another tableau, Swadeshi Bharat, celebrated the idea of national pride through rhythmic movements, creative props, and expressive performances. It stirred a sense of patriotism and reminded us of the importance of valuing our culture and resources. Some of the most heartwarming performances highlighted the beauty of Gujarati culture and rural life—depicting village festivals, daily routines, and the warmth of traditional living. The authenticity and creativity made these tableaux unforgettable. Experiencing Kala-Yatra 2025 felt like watching art breathe—each performance was more than just entertainment; it was a message, a reflection, and a celebration of life itself. It reminded me how the youth can use creativity to question, inspire, and express the pulse of society.

Day 2: Udghatan Samaroh and Volunteering at Quiz Competition (9th October 2025)

On the second day of Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025, dated 9th October 2025, our morning began with the Udghatan Samaroh (Inauguration Ceremony), which we attended along with both our teachers. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as the festival officially began with inspiring speeches, energetic performances, and a sense of togetherness among all participants.

A proud moment for our Department of English was when two talented students, Radhika Mehta and Shruti Sonani, got the opportunity to sing the prayer at the inaugural event. Their melodious voices created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere, marking a graceful beginning to the festival. It was a moment of pride and joy for all of us to see our department being represented so beautifully on stage.

After the inauguration, we returned to our Department of English, as we had our duties as volunteers for the Quiz Competition.

Our Group – 1 of volunteers included:

Bhumi Mahida, Krupali Belam, Smruti Vadher, Jay Vaghani, Sagar Bokadiya, Sejad Chokiya, and Parthiv Solanki.

We all worked together to manage the arrangements and ensure everything ran smoothly during the prelims round of the competition. From guiding participants to handling materials and maintaining discipline, it was a great learning experience in teamwork and coordination. By the end of the prelims round, we felt proud to have successfully completed our responsibilities as volunteers and to have contributed our small part to the festival’s grand celebration.

On the same day, after completing the prelims round of the Quiz Competition, we got the chance to attend and enjoy several other events held under the Youth Festival. We witnessed performances in Mimicry, Skit, Bhajan, One Act Play, Lok Nrutya, and Sugam Geet. Each event had its own charm and showcased the unique talents of the participants. From the humor and creativity of mimicry to the emotional depth of one act plays, and from the rhythmic grace of folk dance to the soulful melodies of bhajans and sugam geet, every performance reflected the artistic spirit of youth. Watching these events together after our volunteer duties made the day even more enjoyable and memorable.

Day 3: Music, Rhythm, and Creative Expressions (10th October 2025)

On the third day of Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025, the campus was filled with excitement and high energy as several competitions were scheduled throughout the day. It was a lively and busy day, with active participation from many departments, including our own Department of English. The events included Group Songs (Sugam Geet) in both Western and Indian categories, Instrument Playing, and one of the most exciting new additions this year — Creative Choreography.

The performances in both group song categories created a wonderful musical atmosphere. The harmony of voices and the blend of rhythm and emotion made every performance delightful to watch. The Instrument Playing event was equally impressive, as participants showcased their skill and passion through soulful melodies.

However, the highlight of the day was definitely Creative Choreography. It was introduced for the first time this year and quickly became everyone’s favourite. The participants amazed the audience with their innovative concepts, synchronized movements, and powerful expressions. Each performance told a story — sometimes emotional, sometimes inspiring — but always full of creativity and youthful energy. The entire day felt like a true celebration of art, talent, and togetherness.

Special Thanks

Megha Trivedi Ma’am and Prakruti Bhatt Ma’am

A very special thanks to our beloved teachers, Megha Trivedi Ma’am and Prakruti Bhatt Ma’am, for their constant guidance and support throughout the Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025. From the very first day till the end, they were with us — helping in every arrangement, encouraging us before performances, and cheering for us from the audience. Their presence made a huge difference.

They were not just there as teachers, but as true mentors and friends who shared this journey with us. Whether it was attending the Kala-Yatra, watching the performances together, or working behind the scenes, both ma’am were always full of positivity and warmth.

We also enjoyed spending time with them — laughing, learning, and creating memories together. Their enthusiasm and encouragement inspired us to give our best, and their friendly support made every moment of the festival more joyful and meaningful.

With our mentors, who turned every moment into a memory 💖

This festival truly became more special because they were with us — not just guiding, but celebrating every success and experience as part of our team.

My Experience as a Volunteer and Participant 🌟

Being a part of the Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025 was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — something that will stay with me far beyond my college years. What made it special was that I wasn’t just an observer; I had the chance to experience it both as a volunteer and as a participant. These two roles gave me different perspectives, but both taught me lessons that went beyond books and classrooms.

As a volunteer, I learned the real meaning of teamwork and dedication. Managing events, coordinating participants, and working alongside my friends and teachers showed me how much effort goes into organizing such a big celebration. It was not always easy — there were moments of hurry, confusion, and pressure — but at the end of each day, there was always a sense of pride and joy in being part of something meaningful. Helping others, seeing events run smoothly, and being appreciated by teachers and participants gave me a quiet happiness that no competition could match.

Volunteering also gave me the chance to bond more closely with my classmates and teachers. Whether it was handling the quiz competition, assisting in the elocution and debate events, or helping with small backstage arrangements, every moment brought us closer as a team. We laughed together, worked together, and learned how small acts of cooperation can make a huge difference. It was a beautiful reminder that behind every successful event, there are always unseen hands and smiling faces making it happen.

As a participant, the experience was equally thrilling. I had the opportunity to express my thoughts, speak on stage, and represent the Department of English with pride. Preparing for my events, discussing ideas with friends, and finally performing in front of the audience filled me with confidence and excitement. Each performance — whether it was singing, debate, art, or dance — reflected the creativity and energy of the youth. Standing there, hearing the applause, and watching other participants perform reminded me how art, language, and imagination connect us all.

What I loved most about the festival was the atmosphere — full of colour, energy, and joy. Every corridor of the college was alive with laughter, music, and movement. It truly felt like a celebration of youth — a reminder that this stage of life is full of dreams, creativity, and the courage to express ourselves freely.

In the end, Bhav Gunjan Youth Festival 2025 was not just an event — it was a celebration of who we are as students, artists, and dreamers. It taught me the value of collaboration, the beauty of creativity, and the importance of being a part of something bigger than myself. These three days gave me countless memories, new experiences, and a deeper sense of belonging to my department and my college.

It was, indeed, a true “Yuvani no Mahotsav” — a festival of youthfulness, creativity, and togetherness.
